Dear WIL AFRICA Delegate

As we continue the countdown, we trust that your preparations for WIL AFRICA 2026 attendance are on track!

Checklist ONE — 9 Oct 2026. Please ensure that:

    Registration form completed for each delegate, including guest speakers. Registration is imperative to guarantee individual access to the Wits Sport Conference Centre.

    If registered within the Early Bird window, you have received the correct Conference invoice, and had it processed within cut-off times.
  3. 3
    Conference fees have been paid and Proof of Payment sent to / received by SASCE via admin@sasce.net no later than 12 October for Early Bird rates.
    Registrations and payments outside the Early Bird window will attract normal rates — unless a special payment arrangement had been made by the institution and an undertaking confirmed in writing prior to closing of the early bird window.

    Your abstract submission has been confirmed, the abstract accepted and reviewed, subsequent to which your revised version was submitted where applicable. If unsure of abstract status, please re-check and upload. For enquiries please email research@sasce.net, stating your allocated Abstract number (WILAB No.). Final submissions should be sent no later than 1 November 2026 to secure a conference presentation slot.

    Presentation slots at the Conference are arranged according to the sub-themes. Please liaise via WhatsApp 083 315 2522 once you have your attendance confirmed.

    Where applicable, your Research Workshop attendance request has been submitted via the registration channel, bearing in mind that priority is given to delegates who have submitted abstracts and delegates or guests who intend to write full research papers or WIL-related academic articles.

    Your accommodation is secured. Hotel rooms held for the Early Bird special window at the Milpark Garden Court are to be released on 12 October 2026.
